Stop trying to be confident.

We’re often under the impression that we need to be extremely confident in something in order to do it, but unless you’re a complete narcissist, you’re not going to develop that confidence until you do that thing over and over and over.

You fail and get up, fail and get up, fail and get up.

Eventually, you become proficient. And then, confidence arises organically.

You don’t need to have an abundance of belief in yourself either, just enough to take the first step. You’re not going to be a confident public speaker until you do it over and over and over and know that you can hold your own on a stage.

Let the process develop the confidence. It’s not going to come from reading this post over and over. Take the first step, and start your process. It’s just a whole lot of doing.
